1. Which Laser are safe for Indian skin for hair reduction?

Nd:YAG and Diode are most widely used with good balance of safety and efficiency.

2. Why should one opt for laser hair reduction?

3. What is the use of Botox?

It primarily reduces appearance of facial wrinkles. Following treatment, results are usually seen within 3-5 days. However it can take up to 2 weeks to see full results. 6. What are different types of Acne Scars?

Rolling scars: This type causes Rolling or ” Wave like” undulations over skin.
Box scars: They are wider round and oval depressions. They develop as result of tissue loss after a severe episode of acne and give skin a pitted appearance.
Hypertrophic scars: They are thick, firm raised scars.
Icepick scars: They are narrow and deep.

7. What are Acne & Acne Scars?

Acne is a skin condition that occurs when hair follicles become plugged with oil and dead skin cells. Acne usually appears on the face, neck, chest, back and shoulders. Effective treatments are available, but acne can be persistent. The pimples and bumps heal slowly, and when one begins to go away, others seem to crop up. Acne is common among teenagers, with a reported prevalence of 70 to 87 percent. Increasingly, younger children are getting acne as well. Acne in adults may be a symptom of underlying disorders such as PCOS.

10. How does fractional laser treatment work?

The dermis ( mid- layer of skin) is made up of collagen and elastin fibers that provide skin with strength ,elasticity and pliability. Fractional device delivers a laser into skin layer which is divided into thousands of tiny but deep columns of treatment. These are called micro thermal zones(MTZ). Within each MTZ old epidermal pigmented cells are expelled and penetration of dermal collegen causes a reaction that leads to collegen formation , hence smoother firm skin with filling effect on scar depth. By using MTZs the surrounding healthy tissue remains intact and unaffected and helps to heal wound faster.

11. What are Dermaroller Treatments?
